    ROLL CALL!

Who is still alive and kicking out there?

I don't play much any more because of time but when I do it is mostly Overwatch. I'm having some minor surgery on my foot next Thursday so I should be on a fair bit for the next two weeks while I heal. The absolute BEST way to find me these days is through Facebook. Message Scooter Nicks if you want to play.

    CS:GO | NUKE is Back!

All of you lonely, half-tanked, linux beard wearing CS:1.6ers know you have missed this map. NUKE blew up on the scene back in BETA 4.0 days and then turned Chernobyl cold after the March 31st, 2015 update. Nuke has been changed slightly with each update, removing or revamping bits and pieces making more confrontation a must. Yet the CS Devs, through some small amount of wisdom, removed the Cedar Creek Nuclear Power Plant from the Active Duty Pack. Baaahhh!!! Sniper battles center map were a thing to be remembered. The P90 rush through the front door a thing of the past. The past until now that is!

Give the Terrorists more options. Tactical options? Come on now, Terrorists rush and rush well. A good planned rush could break any fortified bomb site. I could see the issue with rotation times though. This is not Mission Impossible:Ghost Protocol where it takes 40 mins to countdown 3 while getting your butt kicked in a real life car vending machine. No this is CS where that damn beeper beeps faster.......and faster........and frantically faster. ROTATE!

So clean up THAT corner of your living room, office, kitchen, garage, man cave, wherever and fire up that old dinosaur of a gaming rig. Kick the wheels, log into STEAM, and get on Counter Strike:Global Offensive [CS:GO]. Lets go stop the Terrorist from going Nuclear!

    24-Hour Birthday Stream!

I was diagnosed with Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (or RRMS) on my birthday, September 11, 2012. Multiple Sclerosis is not a curable disease, yet.

Gaming for MS is a nonprofit public charity organization meant to unify gamers to improve the overall quality of life for those with Multiple Sclerosis through the power of video games. Our streams benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Gaming for MS aims to bring those of the [but not limited to] gaming community together to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis research. Though rather small and overlooked, the gaming community is a tight-knit one and can surely provide and build strength for those in need.

Video games allow individuals with MS to experience situations that may be difficult or limited in the real world, provide social networking opportunities to maintain mental and emotional health, and participate in one of the world's largest pastimes.

"I believe that there is nothing more powerful for someone with Multiple Sclerosis than the freedom that only video games can provide. It is an art form that allows us to all run, jump, and be whatever we want to be." Jay Fitzgerald, Founder

    Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

    Confirmed real!

    Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

The good old is getting a little strange. Yes that is right CS is going Global. New skins, killing devices, and battle grounds.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) will expand upon the team-based action gameplay that it pioneered when it was launched 12 years ago.

CS: GO features new maps, characters, and weapons and delivers updated versions of the classic CS content (de_dust, etc.). In addition, CS: GO will introduce new gameplay modes, matchmaking, leader boards, and more.

"Counter-Strike took the gaming industry by surprise when the unlikely MOD became the most played online PC action game in the world almost immediately after its release in August 1999," said Doug Lombardi at Valve. "For the past 12 years, it has continued to be one of the most-played games in the world, headline competitive gaming tournaments and selling over 25 million units worldwide across the franchise. CS: GO promises to expand on CS' award-winning gameplay and deliver it to gamers on the PC as well as the next gen consoles and the Mac."

CS: GO is being developed by Valve in cooperation with Seattle-based Hidden Path Entertainment. The title is targeted for release in early 2012 and will be playable at this year's PAX Prime and London Games Festival.
