TF2

I liked the original Team Fortress when it came out years ago, but the new one (aptly named Team Fortress 2) looks to be a LOT more fun. Valve has released the latest trailer for the game in the form of "Meet the Soldier". Pretty entertaining stuff.

I don't know...it looks too "cartoony" for me...like that early Lucas Arts game Full Throttle...

Could be fun..

oh yeah cant wait for this to come out they been suppossedly going to make team fortress 2 years agao and early pictures had it being team based and it looked an awful like battle field with all the modern graphics. and it seemed to be the running joke that it was still being worked on like 5-10 years lol.
The new cartoony figures i am not sure ill like but if the game play is good then iam game( used to love an all night game of dust bowl i loved making those auto turrents.

i hope the medic has a german accent, and the sniper has an aussie accent.

The pre-purchase is open for the Orange Box ($44.9x). You get HL2, HL2 Episode 1 and 2, TF2, Portal, misc other game and the option to join the TF2 beta on the 17th. The bad news is that I already have HL2 and HL2 Ep 1. The good news is that they will let you "gift" the games that you have to a friend. I'm not sure why they can't just sell you a bundle with only the new stuff. Oh yea, I'm sure it will be out after release.

nice i might actually get that sounds like a great bundle of gaming goodness. i think it funny if they mention well let you gift something( old game) yeah try using that in court lol. oh yes your honor they let me gift just those games hehe.

HL 2 and HL 2 Episode 1 were good. That Ravenholm section would freak me out when playing in the dark. It's cool that we can re-gift them. The cool thing about Steam is that you can put in their Steam account name and it will just show up on their games list. They will be able to download and play them right away. If you haven't gotten a chance to play them (HL2 and HL2 Eps 1), then definitely check out the Orange Box.

Thanks Onji! I'm downloading the HD version on Steam at the moment. All of the videos so far have been pretty awesome.

I've been playing the beta and it is a ton of fun. I'm looking forward to have a few more mercs to fight alongside.
