I need some advice on CS 1.6 - game won't load

I dont know if anyone else is having this problem, BUT when I start up steam, and click on the CS icon it gets to the screen with the 2 guys with the shotgun an the pistol. then it just freeze's up. I have to reboot my PC to get out of the crap. THIS STEAM 1.6 IS STARTING To make me say things I try not to say :mad:
