new server

Hey guys, Toby and I have almost finished setting up everything on the new server. I will be going to swap our servers out tomorrow at noon. So make sure you have 1.6 installed and ready to go. Expect a little downtime tomorrow while the swap takes place probably about 15mins. I'll post again when everything is in place and going.

I zipped up our current 1.5 server and will transfer it to the new server. We just want to go ahead and get the new server in place. Working Monday - Friday, 8-5 doesn't always provide the adaquate time to be able to drive to Bayou Internet to swap out servers. Its much appreciated that Onji is getting this taken care of on his day off.

you guys might want to lower the player level from 22 to around 18 the sever gets very laggy when 20 plus are playing, tell bayou you need more bandwith!!!

im still getting an "svc_bad" error then it auto disconnects me from server :'(

as for the new T/CT rifle...the T one is good close but crappy long distance and CT one is crazy at snipping cause the burst-fire shoots all 3 in practically the same spot but its bad up close

the svc error is because of a bad texture in custom.hpk

The HPK file is basically decals / color sprays that you download while playing online...

And it increases load time if you dont delete often...

goto
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\
press f3
then type in
*.hpk
or
custom.hpk

Delete all of them.


try that and see if it helps at all
