Das EXPENSIVE firewood.....d00d, take it easy...I was kidding. Very cool. You should be able to get that. If not I know a few vintage dealers out here....I'll pass the link around.

Thanks dude - I'd always had selling it in the back of mind, and always kinda watched ebay, but no LG-2's ever seemed to show up, but recently they were, and people were going fool over them! One was in absolutely AWFUL shape and went for 850, but they have generally been in the $650 range. We shall see :)

Yeah, I saw the "Gibon" thing about the time someone bid and I couldn't change the listing - wound up getting an "off ebay" offer and taking it. Both buyer and seller are happy :D

D-35 'eh. I'm a "Martin Afficianado" of sorts. The 35 is the one I never could develop a taste for - that isn't a knock at all, all personal preference. They have always sounded too "Woofey" for me, but it's just my style of playing though. I owned a 1962 d-18 for years and finally sold it, and I owned a crappy (beater) 1980's D-28 for a while...sounded great, looked like crap! My next purchase (guitar wize) will be a HD-28, which is modeled after the old pre-war 28's w/ lighter bracings, Herringbone bindings, and they are made w/ old stock Brazilian Rosewood (hasn't been avaliable since the 70's) instead of the Indonesian Rosewood used in the standard D-28 - that is unless I can find a true pre-war D-28 in "Decent" condition for less than 3 or 4 grand.

That's going to be a while though - probably income tax refund time :D

w00t...damn, y'all got me out gunned with the hollowbody shizz. Ima product of 80's electrics. Jackson, BC Rich, Kramer and more recently ESP. I'm not sophisticated enough for a PRS allthough I'd like to think I am.:D
