sorry timbo nivida does not suck, the fx 5900 is prolly the best card on market as of right now, i never said ati sucked i just said blah and that thier cards are known to overheat. i would prolly buy a ati if nivida didnt have my trust. i buy nothing but nivida. but hey everyone has there opinion you like ati i like nivida no harm in that.

Yes. I see. Have fx 5900 crad. but this card is not fast ati. Ati is fast. ..... my fx 5900 is not I'm going to send it back. $500.00.

what brand fx 5900 you get? that makes a big diffrence in the card, the best cards out are the 5900 ultras, if you want a regular 5900 go with the msi card it is the best one out as of now. the ultra 5900 roxor boxors but the msi brand is the best around, never had a problem with anything msi makes.

I stick with Abit and MSI. Abit seems to be pretty good also. I have never had a problem with them.

Ok Guys have a new card. wth have a 5900. this card sucks bad. going to send it back to get me a new AIW9800.

I agree with the whole MSI bit - never had a problem with a single one of thier products...

Also everyone knocks ECS, and I have prolly build more computers on a ECS K7S5A than any other mobo (have one in my comp) and they have always been pretty solid, stable boards...exept for a bad batch of them we got at my old workplace form a lousy distributer...

Oh well...anyway MSI roxors!

K7S5A and Win98 don't get along! The first version, you had to DL drivers that actually WORKED (or was it XP?).

That's what is in my wifes computer though.

I've built a few that ran 98. Never used the driver CD that came with them - they aren't even programmed in proper english...lol.
