pak0 File

A file named pak0 in the valve folder, its a fragmented sizeable file, anyone know what it is, do I need it, can I fix it>

Not sure, but does it affect you playing CS or Half-Life?

If it does, then I suggest you back up you map files, and uninstall and reinstall CS and/or Half-Life to correct the prob.
