Satellite

I have been connected via satellite (receiver and transmitter) and I was wondering if there was anything that I could do to boost my speed?

Any changes that I could make on my end (PC) to help out my cause?

well my only experience with satellite is when omega got it at his house. It was terrible for gaming, the download was fine, but the upload sucked pretty bad, which messes with online games that sends packets back and forth frequently

so from my experience:
satellite =good for web browsing and downloading, nothing else

but you never know, it may have changed since i last seen it

Yeah same thing that Onji said I know that they were supposed to be comeing out with a update that was supposed to help with the "lag" for people who wanted to use it for online gameing.

yea sat suxors bad, i pinged around 800, only pinged around 350 on my dail up lol.

I don't have Bayou Satellite, it's Direcway.

I am about to call the people and get it changed to satellite download and 56K upload, this is terrible. Pinging btwn 800 to 2500.
