skins? where and how? Also cant seem to figure out how to "vote map" in console.. anyone in the ruston area could earn some free beer for a little help...:confused:

How: Sierra-->Half Life-->cstrike-->models

In the models folder is ALL the skins for Cs. PLayers hosties and guns. I strongly suggest you make a folder and put the old ones in there BEFORE you put the new ones in the models folder. If you change a skin, some new ones won't have "P" "W" amd "V" version of the model. Be sure to remove all the original ones when you install the new one.

The first link I gave you is BY FAR the best location on the net for skins...problem is it's down right now. Some skins will be left hand by default. Someone else will have to help ya there. I'll take my beer in May at the LAN thank you very much.

Err sorry Scott but http://csnation.counter-strike.net is better then cs skins :D
and to vote map type listmaps in the console to see the maps and their numbers and type votemap "#" in the cosole to vote for it

Youve never been to Zero Ping then...they have TWICE the skins csnation does.

yes i have been to zeroping i dont like em they have skins from like 1.0 and its quaility not quantity :) and darn j00 and ur admin p0werererererz0rs

kk... got the skins...kewl!!... Still cant vote in console... when I activate the in game GUI, which I assume is the console, I get 4 options 1)help 2)change team 3)team message 4)drop current item..
the only addition to cs that i have installed is csru 4, and various skins and sounds.. What am I missing???

d00d go to ur cs shortcut and go to targert and add -console to the end of it
