(Reuters) - President Bush and his allies are unlikely to face trial for war crimes although many nations and legal experts say a strike on Iraq without an explicit U.N. mandate breaches international law. While judicial means to enforce international law are limited, the political costs of a war that is perceived as illegal could be high for all concerned and could set a dangerous precedent for other conflicts, lawyers say.

now doesn't that just warm your heart? saddam can use nerve gas and chemical weapons on small towns and villages around his country but not even come close to raising a UN eyebrow for breaking international law.

I wonder why the "judicial means to enforce international law are limited?" could it be that the US is the one that does the majority of the enforcing? what they gonna do? ask bush to stick his nose in the corner for a while?

freakin lawyers....there are some good ones out there, but alot more are a plague to human kind.

Put America, Britian, Spain, Italy, and anyone else that cooperates on trial??...... Bunch of ARSE HEADS!!
