That is the link to this mod for bf1942... it is very easy to exe.

And i just got finished playing it for like 10 mins and it so blows the original bf away... i would like to see us have a server for this awsome mod... DL it and play it.. you will not be dis pleased..

Mercy, It's a mod of 1942...if you have that, I think you just need to DL the new game.

Hey Captain or anyone else,
How did you get the mod to run.
I went to custom game -> desertrtr 1.0(whatever it is called) -> activate.
It changes the background from the norm to solid black.
But when I go play something it is still in original 1942??
What am I missing?

I wanna fly the AC-130 so bad.
In college, I would fly the AC and Andy would fly the A-10 in EA's Jane's Combat Flight Sim.
It was death and distruction, I could hear Andy laughing from across the hall.
I will get it going when I get home Captain.

Just to let everyone know,
I got to play it last night and the mod completely r0x0rs!!!
Captain is dead on the money, with his review.
It makes a great game unbelievable.
It takes the massivness and mult-demensions of BF1942 and adds the modern, quick pace of a CS. :cool:

The only aggrevation is getting the .2 alpha its 85Mb and you have to go to file planet or whatever to get it.
Onji, is there any chance we can put it in the News section, so more people can get it??

this mod is offfff da hizook man. the extreme speed of the jets are just unbelievable. and add in the attack choppers(hard to manuever at first, but the firepower it packs is gnarly)

i have also been playing this for a while and this is a very good mod.
it really rocks!!!! though the chopper is really hard to fly, i can move around but i havent got the shooting down yet.

I played this for the first time last night. I have to say that it does make a great game better.

When will the MERCS have a server for this?

we just had a server, but at alas and alack it had to go down...the machine we had it on was a beta and had to be sent back...but hopefully we can have one up soon
