The space shuttle Colombia was seen breaking up as it reentered the atomsphere this morning over Central Texas. The residents of the Dallas/Fort Worth area are warned to watch out for falling debris.

I would like everyone to pray for the family members of those onboard. God bless them, and God bless America.

first person to post some conspiracy crap should be shot on site. obviously this was a horrible accident and does not deserve its memory to be tarnished with meaningless crap like what happened to 9-11.

Back in 1986 when Challenger blew up, I was 10 years old sick withthe Flu and I rememebr watching the launch from my bed.

Today, I am sick with the Flu, stayed home from work, 27 years old, and am no less moved by the immensity of the tragedy.

God bless the crew and their families. They are the explores of our generation and like the military have my utmost respect. I for one love this country and the space program. NASA and space exploration are on the cutting edge of technology and science and the risk in what they do is great. I admire their courage and devotion. Again, God Bless!

This may sound cheesy, but that was my shuttle.. i was born 12 days before its first launch... and it being the first of the reusables, i like to think i ushered in a whole new generation of space travel... anyway i've always been really into it.. so yesterday to not only see this disaster occur, but to occur on that ship that should have been retired and moved into the smithsonian at a near point in the future as far as im concerned was just damn heartbreaking.....
