While trimming back some of the shrubbery in front of my house I was stung by two caterpillars. One is a Puss Caterpillar (considered one of the more poisonous in the US)

The other one is an Io Moth Caterpillar:

The Puss Caterpillar sting hurts the worst. Deadhorse suggested that I urinate on the sting or the caterpillar to seek my revenge. I came up with a better idea. I captured both of them and put them in jar to fight it out. Currently they are both entwined with one another and stinging the crap out of the other.

Any word on the battle, Yankee?

Here's the latest. These two have dueled so much that they have deficated all over the jar. It's pretty nasty. The battle seems to be at a stand still. Yesterday the green one (Io Moth) was wrapping the other one up several times over. Right now they seem to be taking a break on opposite sides of the jar. I'll keep you posted how round 2 goes.

Question: Should I put some leaves in the jar to sustain them while the fight?

After much to do about nothing, the IO Moth Catepillar won (that's the green one). Although I don't think there was much life left in the thing. They were both moving very slowly the last few days of the battle - not that catepillars are real fast anyways.

I think they may have died due to the about of fecies in the jar. It looks like these two scared the crap out of each other - literally
