This is not just another political thread. This pertains to 2 photos that Tech took and I photo-shopped. One has my son in his baseball helmet in color with a b&w background....named P-did. The other is my daughter reaching for a pink rose named H-girl. Vote 'em up men...errrr.....and women if available.

Thanks. Also what do yo all think. Tech took these with his Digital SLR and I think the quality is sweet. I had to shrink them to a max 2000px wide, hence the small in size look.

P.S. For anyone else throwing our boys some support, Scotts pics are last in scenery class. I wasn't smart enough to realize when he said he just got his in that they would be on the last page, LOL, so I looked at 24 pages of pics before I found it, LMFAO, Doh! stupid Brain!

It's not the best camera in the world...it's a little old now, but it was a lot better than what I had before (nothing) and was half price (bought from someone on HardOCP).

Fujifilm FinePix s6000FD is the camera.

I drove about 10 minutes our of town, pulled off the road and took that picture. ;-) I'm on vacation this next week and want to climb the tall peak to the right in that one.

tech pics are very good. the rose pic to me is the best of the two rook. boy picture is good but little one wins in my eyes. dl needs toset some up for u guys also. she got this camera that took her about six months to buy. she likes to take pictures of her cat and squirrels. pictures of bees and insect real close up she does good job. need to tell her to put some in here for u guys to see and see what u think

Hey guys this is DL... I'll have to post some of the pictures I got! I got my new camera that was about $1005.00 It's a Nikon D40. If anyone is looking for a new camera this is the one to get (not mine but get your own)lol!!!!!!!!!!! I love it. Give me a little while and I'll post some of my cool pictures here.

Hey...just a followup here...I got a call from the IR (the newspaper here in town) saying that one of my pictures won the Scenery competition...I know I have you all to thank for the votes. THANKS A BUNCH!!! Out of almost 800 pics...wow.
