I want wipe / reload a Lenovo Laptop. It came from American Home Mortgages that now is defunct and told this agent to keep the laptop, but it needed to be wiped and reloaded. I booted and wallah!, I cannot see the HDD to install or go to recovery. It says no drive is found. It is seen in bios and was able to boot before the attempted re-install. Waht to do or where to start.

Is this a BIOS lock of some sort by their IT Dept.?
Can I flash the bios?
What to do?
I have tried a new hdd to no avail. Same error.

Behold the power of the internets! Look up the make and model and you should have it, no?

Solved....:doh

Hahahaha It was loaded w/ an image I am sure. It worked around the raid driver issue. I am loading the HDD not in raid so I had to reset the HDD from AHSI or what not to "Compatible". Waht a dumarse!
