there are a couple of free ones out there that ive used in the past sucessfully, from microsoft:

...Both of which were originally developed and released by SysInternals. They got bought by MS, and the head developer went with the company. Excellent programs. The guy who wrote them is the one who originally found and dissected the Sony DRM rootkit that was all in the news last year. Good stuff. I keep both of them on a USB key for troubleshooting.
