Ok guys... Now have 2 reasons to get a new Monitor

1. its having trouble displaying the graphics my new Machine is pumping out

and

2. The tick I have been trying to find is in the monitor, I have removed all other components
(Including UPS) So this has got to be the problem.

What I need, is something in the 300 dollar range... I just cant afford to go any higher...
I really cant go 300 but... I know if Im going to get somthing worth having I have to come up off some bucks...

I don't trust the monitor at all since its now hooked up to 1600 worth of new hardware..
I will be some kind of pissed off if it messes something else up.

HELP!!

If I remember correctly, I bought mine do to Onji's recommendation in the first place. I have had it about 1 yr, and I do really like it.

OK.. so Dell is good Idea.. What about this 24 in one... which one do you fellas have? If the price is not too bad... Why not go with the 24 over the 22...

If you can, go with the 24. The extra real estate is nice.

Price difference of $300.00.

Holy crap... yea, bigggg difference.. if 2 extra inches is going to run me 300 more dollars, I think I would be better off buying 2 X 22 for that kind of money and run dual monitors...LOL

But seriously.. 22 inch is fine with me, and its within a price range I set for myself.

That's a bigger difference in price than I would have thought. Not worth $300 more (IMHO). The Dell 22" has DVI (w/ HDCP) and RGB, so the connections are pretty good. You can live without the component & HDMI since there are inexpensive adapters from HDMI to DVI.

If you really wanted the 24", you could save up a little longer and wait for a sale (Dell usually discounts them somewhat frequently).

Well, I think a 22 will do me just fine.. Its a good price, and right up my alley. I don't trust the samsung im using right now... it has me a little worried.. So Ive gone ahead and ordered the 22in Dell... AS of a few minutes ago.. In 3 to 5 days I should have new monitor to go along with my new machine... its going to hurt my pocket a little bit.. BUT!! Screw it... sometimes you just have to do these things..LOL

You'll love the wide screen for BF2, at first it looks like you have a brand new game until your eyes adjust. I thought my 17" awesome CRT was good until I went widescreen LCD. Good luck Yellow, tell us how your system is when it's all done, way to go DOG!!!!
