What brands have good quality laptops? I'm looking at getting a small laptop for work that's light weight. It doesn't need a ton of processing power because it will be doing internet surfing and basic applications. I don't anticipate any gaming or hard processing happening on it at all.

I found an HP at Walmart of all places that seems pretty good but I'd like your input on the matter. This isn't the exact one, I don't think, but the main components are correct. I'd like to keep it around 1k, maybe up to $1500.

Check out the new Dell Inspiron's. They aren't ultra-portables (meaning they have 14 - 15inch screens) but you can pick one up for less than $600.
