Ever since the server issues last night, everytime i try to join the server, i get booted out to my desktop...

what is it telling you before you get booted and is there anyway that you can get a screenshot of it so we can see what error it is giving you?

If you are not sure how to get the screenshot, Hold down the ctrl key and hit the Print Screen key as soon as the error pops up. This will take the screenshot. Then open up something like the Paint program that comes in windows and you can either ctrl V to paste the screenshot or click Edit and Paste. Now just save it and there you go, your very own screenshot of your error message.
