well my rig is not doing well today it got stuck on boot up and windos would not start but i was looking as boot up and hit f8 as abi told me to go to safe mode did not work but another option was use the last working start up so i hit it and here we are it seem like it takes a long time for the computer to move like to close a file is the RAM or the CPUare do i need to reformat

Have you tried basic system maint.. like defraging. maybe running a spy ware tool?

I would not suggest anything dramatic untill after the scrim tonight... but you could rum Memtest, afterwards to see if your having a Ram issue. Thats a process that needs to run in DOS, and takes a few hours to get a real true test of your Ram.

Go to System Restore and restore you system to a time "BEFORE" it started causing issues.

ok on boot up i hit f8 and there was that option and then ran a c clean works better

System Restore is in Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> System Tools
