guys i want to validate my old pc for dl and kids. so i bought cd when i got my new system and it came with two cds. its xp pro. on my old system i would like to keep everything i have on there but install new pro system. im not sure if it will erase what i have on system or if it will even work at all. if it will not i want to know if i can erase everything and start over. and how to do it.

I think dragon was running XP pro, but to be honest, I think the best thing you can do is start all over, reformat to get a clean install of windows... then re-install what you want on it. You will have less trouble that way.

Also... this will ensure that you have'nt left any Pr0/\/ laying around on that computer for your kids to watch.

Old System = Hacked Copy of XP Pro

New System = Purchased Copy of XP Pro

Is that correct?

you can use http://www.magicaljellybean.com/beta/ to get the key from your OS installed with the retail CD and change the key on your older OS.

ok what i have is my old system is hacked correct. im also building new one. in process of buying new one i went ahead and bought two cds for each system old and new for very low price of 159.00 so i waited as long as i could. now the porn is free and i have alot of it. emails would be good. just want to know if it will wipe my old systm if i put windows cd in old system if it does thats fine. all i have to do is get pics off for dl and do it. hopefully this will help what im talking about.oh yea the pron i get is email form ( sry thats for tech)

Dragon,

Look at LaTech's post above, there is a link to a program that will allow you just to swap the hacked Windows Key with the Windows CD Key that you have on the new disk. That way, you don't have to reload the completed OS just to have a valid key.

You are really just paying for the valid license key, not the cd.
