I've been having some trouble getting the RAM I purchased working, BF2 crashing, system acting Weird and so on... Well I think im on the right track to getting it worked out but I need somea advice on what to do in order to get this RAM optimized with my system.

I think this thread I have going in the Corsair help forums may catch you fellas up to speed with where Im at, please take a look.

http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54795

Corsair recomends for this RAM on an AMD chip to run at 2.5 3-3-6 at 2.75 volts.

Currenty in the BIOS I have the ram timing at 2.5 3-3-6 at 2.7 volts and running at 166 MHz = 1:1

I was using a program called "CPUZ" in widows to list Proccessor speed, and other settings along with RAM.

Whats got me curious is, in this program it list the Timing in onw window as 3.0 3-3-6 and in another window 3.0 3-3-8

So either my ram is not really running at 2.5 3-3-6 or the program is Wrong. " I hope the programs wrong.

Send the ram back and get something more compatible with your system.

Do you have the lastest bios? Maybe upgrade to a 400MHz cpu?

First off,
can you return RAM to NewEgg if it turns out not to be compatable with your System?
I figured I was going to have to make it work becase they would not refund Items like that.

If not, upgrading the proccessor would be one way to get the RAM running at what it was spec'ed at...
I know the FSB on the MOBO is 400 MHz, so that would not be a problem.

For a few more than the price of an outdated CPU, you can go this route. This also has a pci-x slot for upgrading a video card later on.
