Does PCI EXpress work in my pile?

Dell #:7C30181

Thanks guys.

If it does I may be in BF2 business. If not I will look for a card to run BF2 that will fit.

I guess it will not. What would be the best card I could put in my pile? I wouldn't mind running BF2. C'mon do0ds.

Will any of these work?.....

Also, the bottom 2 say PCI Express in title, but say PCI is supported below in specs. Are all PCI Express cards that way?

thee rook, I'm not sure that the Dimension 3000 has a video card slot (agp or pci express) so you might be stuck. To verify, you would need to open it and check the motherboard. Post mobo model number if you can.

Sorry :(

Cool.

I put in an ATI RADEON 9250 256MB Vid Card about 1 yr ago. I was trying to upgrade out of the 9250 series enough to get BF2 running.

MOBO numbers:
DELL Rev-A00
DS/N CN-OTC666-70821-565-02BO:C/O CN
AA C92755-303

Does this work?

This seems the best that you can get. It may just run BF2. What are your processor and ram specs?

Hey Toby thanks. I think that should run BF2 enough for me to die in game. I will order Monday. Woot finally.

Hey Toby, Is the GeForce 7300 or whatnot an option for me? If so then it would be better?

The Geforce 7300 is PCI Express if I remember correctly. You do not have a PCI Express slot, just a regular PCI slot so you are very limited.

Also, how much ram does your machine have?

Or, even better, how many slots do you have open also.. Im under the impression that BF2 really likes RAM...
