You have chosen for your league to take part in a live online draft on Thu Aug 31 7:15pm PDT. Until that time, you (and only you) can change the type of draft by using the Change Draft Type option found among your Commissioner Tools, which can be reached from your League Overview page.

If you choose to remain in a live draft, please arrive at the draft 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled time. The draft will start promptly and may conclude rapidly if only a few managers are logged in.

We also suggest that all league members custom rank their players in case a manager can't make it to the draft. Managers can do this at any time by simply going to the Fantasy Football home page and clicking on their team name.

Ok so this was my evening last night.


As some may or may not know my wife Marietta is four short days from giving birth to our second son, looks like Tuesday is the day. Ok, with that as the backdrop, this was last night.

The FFL league I’ve been apart of for 14 years (10 team league, 3 time Champ) has a draft over at a buddy’s house here in town, usually it degenerates into a booze, and card fest, which last’s into the wee hours. Considering I have zero immunity to peer pressure and don’t need to be hammered in the event my wife spills amniotic fluid all over the kitchen floor, I stay home. I Draft that team by phone, have you ever attempted to talk to a drunk while trying to make that key 10th round fourth wideout selection? It’s a freaking nightmare!!

Meanwhile the BF2 guys are screaming for players to get in the server, I’m setting up my lap top to prepare for the LA MERC draft, the guy who cuts my lawn dropped a full, dirty gas can in the pool its sunk to the bottom spewing more gas than the Exxon Valdez. Reagan needs help finishing a Lego project, Marietta is calling me to dinner and telling me how her (insert ANY body-part here) is swollen, tender, sore, aching, enlarged, painful, uncomfortable, itchy, inflamed, irritated, throbbing and aggravated. Oh, all the beer is warm because the guy who is finishing a bathroom remodel, unplugged my beer refrigerator and never plugged it back in! He finished the project four days ago.

So… I load on to the BF2 server, bring up the FFL draft via lap top, draft manually after seeing I drafted two kickers in like the 5th round, answer the phone and draft the other league, sympathize with my wife, get a Lego lesson from my five-year old (Dad…that’s just not the correct part there) and slam a slightly cold-mostly-warm beer, while considering how I’m going to get the pool clean before this weekend. (No Chance)
