Wireless Antenna

Looking for an antenna i can connect to my laptop to extend the range. I can't adjust anything about the wireless router on the rig, but is there anything i can plug into my laptop to extend it without having to put a different wireless card in?

Can't u get a booster to extend the signal for U? I know they used to sell those to extend the area of coverage for big houses
