laptop problem

Got a co-worker that has a laptop that is on the fritz. He says this is the error it gives and won't load up.

If I had to make a guess, I would say that his h/d could be on the blink, or the controller which is built in MB but, if it's posting I would stick to the h/d.

Agreed...check the HD (run diags or something). if it's a Dell, they have a diagnostic CD that comes with the craptop...
