mildly annoying disk manage problem

I ran into this when trying to install my new HDD's last night. When I right-click my computer and got to manage and then to storage devies, my HDD's do not show up. What I think may be them is instead a folder icon which is emptier than biggs' technical abilities.

Anyone ever run into this?

Have they been fdisked? Are the jumpers set right? Just asking stupid questions...

there are two sata drives raided and 1 eide drive. All are fully functional. The sats drives have the os and the eide is a backup drive. Just can't see them in manage. All I can manage are the removable media drives

yeah, but I can't even see my EIDE drive. Isn't that a little strange?

Why doesn't it say "Disk Management" under Storage in the list?
