I decided I wanted to try and make a level for Source. I've downloaded Hammer (valves map building program) but I'm having trouble setting up the Counter strike settings. Every forum and guide tells me to load a file called cstrike.fgd. The problem is I don’t have it. It is supposed to be in the Valve\Steam\SteamApps\(your name)\sourcesdk\bin Folder. I don’t have those folders though. When I try to download it online, it is referenced that only people who bootleg the program don’t have it. I have a legal copy of the game, can anybody spare the file?
It would be much appreciated if somebody could tell me if i missed an option during my initial install, or maybe just send me the file.
Also, I'm entertaining ideas for a new level. Something really simple and effective. There is a reason that Iceworld and poolday work so well. Thanks for the help....
