Anyone know a freeware program that will convert MP4 (like those that you download from iTunes) to MP3 (so that it will play in WinAmp)?

Thanks,

LaTech

ohh wait, you said from iTunes.... there's a difference from mp4 and m4a. the iTunes are encrypted and as of last week I was unable to find anything to convert it. what I ended up having to do is burn a CD of the music then rip it back to the PC either as wav or mp3.

Ok, these were downloaded a while back...would your DBPowerAMP still work for "older" iTunes files?

Sorry I didn't get back to this like 2 months ago, but the files are m4a and m4p files that my friend sent to me (seriously)...anything other than iTunes?
