Gee Whiz, it takes a while to get your rank up... We played last night for 2-3 hours and my bar barely moved. The only thing I got was a Sniper Badge. Does anyone know what it takes to unlock the kits?

BTW I hate the minivan! No floating, running overm dead by a hand grenade POS! LOL

I think your rank depends on the amount of points you get, not how long you play. I'm just shy of halfway through PFC.

I just use the minivan for transport, once battle starts I'm bailing out.

Upon further review I'm almost halfway to PFC, I just looked at the rank that was bigger and assumed that was I. I was wrongo, just a regular privates.

I'm over 66% of the way to PFC. I would have put in some time this weekend but I had a lot of family stuff going on. I did try a few times but the packet loss was so high on almost every server that it was impossible to play... well play in a fashion that would allow me to do anything but be a target.

Yeah, I'm only about 50% toward PFC, but Sunday night I put in some time from 10:30 until 12:30 so I should be closer when we play monday. I did also recieve the basic combat medal and the helo pilot metal, so I'l be a little closer come game time Monday. Also Minderks I also had bad lag on domestic servers but Like Diesel said if you go to the german servers they're ranked and they don't lag. They are the EA DE servers.

Well almighty PFC Diesel must be jealous of people trying to rank up becuase he would maliciously stpe in the way of my bombs and vehicles just to spite me and give me -4 points! lol It was like bad karma last night. I could drop a bomb outside of the combat zone and it would kille diesel. I could turn the ignition switch on the jeepand Diesel would die. I guess he was sleeping int he engine box!

i read on one of the sites i was looking at today that you get your first kit unlock with the promotion to lance corpral... it didn't say anything about which kit that it would be or if you got to pick tho.

I might have gotten a Medic award if that stupid server didn't totally boot us last night. I still only have 3 awards, probably never get any of the Air ones the stupid helos and planes are always gone by the time I spawn.

Got a Bronze Star tonight, and I'm up to PFC. Some of the stuff I got Friday night didn't register, but tonight it showed my Bronze Star less than a minute after I got out of game and checked BFHQ. Weird

woohoo made lance corporal and chose to unlock the M95 Baret. Let me tell you something! That rifle is w00t!. A good clean shot to the chest area and said target starts flopping like a fresh salmon! I actually think I countersniped someone through the scope last night. I was trying to get a shot while he saw and turned towards me. kerplow, I shot first and I don't miss much! How's your hole?

Sweet! I unlocked the G3. Since a lot of people already had the L-85 I thought I would get something different. Next kit I am unlocking will be the upgrade for the support class.

The G3 is nice though. Only has a 20 rd mag but that's ok since the stopping power is a lot better than the standard 16A2 w/ 203. Though I do like the 203 over thrown nades.

i think ea updates once a day and then you score goes up.
if you want a quick ribbon: get in a plane and fly really high, then bail and quickly hit ur parachute. you will get the airborne ribbon.

I'm a lance corporal now. I unlocked the sniper rifle as well. I did do some sniping and enjoyed it. I usually don't snipe, but of the unlockable guns that one seemed the best functionality enhancement.

i unlocked the engi's jackhammer shotgun or should i say spray and pray weapon of death. i mostly play engi cause i am a tanker and man this shotgun at close range can take out 2 or 3 of the enemy if they are foolish enough to attack you in close formation. muwhoahahaha

Hmm, I will have to check my teamkills.

I know I have quite a few. Most are from my bombing runs and the Friend or Foe wouldn't show up until after I dropped the bomb. I really think they need to fix this.

There are a couple of true accidents and also a couple of ones done on purpose.

Like a couple of guys in a helicopter that were trying to teamkill me by hitting my tank with cannon fire and rockets all around my tank. So I whipped around and planted a tank round right into the helicopter cockpit.... both of them punished me. LOL it was totally worth it though, a beautiful shot. :)
