Thanks Saban, way to absolutely RUIN an otherwise good Christmas day with your weak excuse for waiting and your overall pathetic attempts at loyalty. I hope you quickly find out exactly what you so rudely and coldly left behind.

well, at least he went to a pathetic team....it'll be an accomplishment if he does anything with the dolphins....almost every other college coach that tried the NFL, failed...

guys i hate it as much as you but dont knock the man my god he helped bring a freaking national championship to lsu. you cant blame the man for wanting to try and coach in the nfl. its a matter of time all coaches come and go. who knows he may not like it there and decide to come back to lsu. im sure he'd be welcome back.

Yeah, I'm sure it would be hard to turn down coaching in the NFL, lol, even if it is only the dolphins.

I figured he would go...but to the dolphins? At least hold out for a team that's not in total disarray. Now who is LSU gonna get? that's my question

At least he achieved the goal he planned, winning a National Championship, but it still sucks that he is leaving.

yep, he will be missed, but as long as we get another quality coach, we will be fine,
Saban just tapped into the gold mine that is Louisiana football.

I'm hoping they get Jack Del Rio, the coach of the jacksonville jaguars. I think he's already said that he is interested in the job.

davis not a bad coach man not all good college coaches do good with the nfl game if you remember he was with miami and had like two 11-1 seasons and the year after he left they won the title with his players he brought in. he wouldnt be a bad choice.
