At some point <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2004/TECH/internet/12/04/ghost.for.sale.ap/index.html" target="_blank">this crap</a> has to stop.

lol, the sad thing is NOT that someone offered it, but that someone else actually tried to BUY it!!

I will start selling Fart in a Jar. People will be able to use it as a room freshening scent. Think it will work?

Awwwww, you guys miss the point! I think it's a wonderfully innocent way to take the fear away from your child. My only addition would be that whoever won the auction should actually get the stuff for free for being such a good sport. If the story is true, I think it's lovely!

I must say the mom was quite inventive with this one. It a lot better than auctioning STAPLERS with autographs.

I agree - if she IS legit, at least she was creative enough to try something to get her son to not be afraid alone in the house anymore...

However, Nutria, please leave the Farts in the Jar to Dirge...his are priceless :)

In an effort to find the original aution, I found these copycats...

It's amazing how many people try to capatalize on one auction because it was "featured"...

There are several claiming to be featured on CNN over the weekend...not sure which one is the "real" one...lol
