On my return to Full Time Merc status, I'm actually thinking of a name change....sort of a fresh start.

One question - is there another meaning to CaptainJack that I'm not aware of? I'm referring to the Billy Joel Song. Just want to make sure we are on the same page.

Also, Bones is in Trombone rather than skeletal parts. Just want to clarify. I thought about JayBones, but then I thought people would get me confused with Jay, and we don't won't that happening now do we :D

According to Billy Joel, Captain Jack was a drug dealer in his neighborhood growing up, and the song is about how drugs can ruin your life and even though they might make things SEEM better at the moment, or ease the pain, they can destroy you in the long run. I actually wrote a paper on the song in English once...used it as poetry - also did the same with Piano Man a couple of Dylan songs, and several Lennon/McCartney songs. My prof thought I was nuts. I don't think she'd ever had anyone do a Poetic analysis of a Rock song before...lol.

I like you as MadMax, but if you are gonna change names, I REALLY like Diesel's idea! I like the way it is spelled, the way it looks, and the meaning behind it. My 2 cents.

ummm - only trombone music written in Treble clef is English Brass brand music written in Transposing Bb Treble Clef like Trumpet music, intended to help Trumpet and Baritone players play trombone more easily in a pinch...

Trombone music is almost always written in Bass or Tenor Clef, with the occasional 1st part in Symphony music written in Alto Clef (but that's generally ment to be played on a true Alto Trombone)

I'm just confused now - I'm gonna stay with MadMAX and give this more thought...
