That link explains on a slightly technical level about the bridge failure in the movie. I remember seeing a detailed analysis of the failure on the History Channel's "Engineering Disasters" and then seeing the "Mothman Prophecies." I was like "never solved?!? I just saw the cause on the History Channel you ignorant Hollywood hacks!"

All in all, it was an interesting movie, but a little too hokey for me to believe. And, it collapsed in '67 and not recently as the movie would have you believe. Interesting...
