Here are a couple of interesting facts about Tiger Stadium:
1) It has a total capacity of 92,000 people. On Sept 20, 2003, 92,251 people
attended the game against Georgia.
2) The noise the crowd makes has been recorded at 117 decibles.
3) One of the noisiest moments was on October 8, 1987, against Auburn.
It was known as "The Earthquake Game." The LSU Geology Dept.
registered vibrations on the seismograph machine when Tommy
Hodson threw a touchdown pass to Eddie Fuller.
4) The tradition of night games began back in Oct. 3, 1931.
5) Numerous polls show Tiger Stadium is the toughest place to play a
roadgame.

Um, im pretty sure it hit over 117 decibels whenever we beat florida when they were number 1. I was at that game, i couldn't hear myself scream, and the stadium was shaking like crazy. I remember reading the next day in the paper it also registered on the richter scale at the geology dept. I thought they said it was something like 137 decibels that night.

One more interesting fact....

Although there is only 92000 inside the stadium, theres still another 100000 sittin outside the stadium.
People watch LSU Tailgating to learn how to REALLY do it ( btw, watch for me on gameday, the crewe im going out there with usually makes gameday cameras, ill be the guy either passed out or throwin up :) )

Drax, I was there for that game too; it had to be louder. But the best was rushing the field afterwards.
And we better beat Florida this year cuz I hate hearing about it over here.

And here's another pic

I have the same thing. My roommate grew some in a pot for a while. But I have a lasting memory of dislocating my shoulder while carrying the goal-posts.

My boss is leaving for the game at 6:00 in the morning. Baton Rouge is like at most an hour away from here.
