Hey guyz. I just recently decided that i am going to get a different vid card than the one i have had for 1 1/2 years now. If you want to know, i have a geforce4 mx420....yea....its that bad.... well i was thinking about getting a radeon 9800 pro or xt, i dont care if it is used, just so that it is in working condition. I'm running on a SIS630 in my laptop! It r0x0rs for everything....exept 3D acceleration :-P

No thanks captain, i am pretty set on a 9800(something)..

Endofbeginning i feel your pain man... have you tried to play battlefield on full graphics?! WHen i do at lans to show everyone my leetsauce computer, i get like, blue modles and stuff, lol mx420 4 life!!!

latech u sold a 9800 for 50 bucks? was it like an se? or pro or xt? or u know...whatver?

It was a 9800 Pro...I didn't need it anymore.

Really some punk kid on the server told Scott that Scott was gonna give him his video card for $50 or else. So Scott did what any smart man does, he gives it to the kid and actually only got $43.71 cause that was all the kid could scrap together.

No, actually, my card died, or so I thought. I gave it to a friend of mine to work on because he wanted to try something. He modded a CPU heatsink and fan and replaced the onboard one and it worked just fine. He spent about $20 fixing it (as well as my dremel), and I figured $50 would be a fair price considering the work and time he put into the card. He got a good deal (9800 pro for $50 plus some time and parts he ahd already) and I got $50.
