I dont know if ur into samuri killing demons games but if u are u should Definatly check out onimusha 1,2, and especially 3.
3 Picks off with samonoske trying to kill nobunaga and u are then sucked througha portal into Modern day france. Then The second playable character Jaques is tranported through To feudal Japan. Samonoske loses all if his magic powers. he picks up a arsanol of weapons including; 2-swords. Jaques gets Whip like weapons(he gets a sword that resembles ivy's sword in soul caliber) this is all in the first 30 min of gameplay.Enjoy.
